Start ICEGrid Admin
If you are using ICE in your distributed application where you are using ICEGrid then it’s good to manage instance through ICEGrid admin. Here you will see how to start ICEGrid admin console on window box:
- Install ICE using this tutorial (I will use Ice-3.5.1. version). Once installation is done go to ICE_HOME/bin (Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\ZeroC\Ice-3.5.1\bin)
- Double click IceGridGUI.jar it will open ICEGrid admin console as below:
Connect ICE registry from ICEGrid admin
- Start ICE registry using this tutorial then follow steps shown below:
- As you see below new connection got created, click connect:
- Finally you will you are connected to DemoIceGrid as below:
