Convert File Unix Format Example

If you have created script files on Window operating system and wanted to use on Unix boxes you may get “not found No such file or directory Linux” exception due to ctrl-M (carriage returns) contains at the end of each line in your file. To fix this issue you will have to convert window script file in Unix format. Best way to do is use Notepad++ .

  • Open your Notepad –> Open you script file –> Edit –> EOL Conversion –> UNIX/OSX Format:
